from New York City and Montreal, plus casting directors from the

Montreal scene. Over 5 days, you’ll train in acting, movement, Lucid

Body, improv, on-camera technique, and voice-over,and leave with a

professionally produced voice-over demo for your agent submissions.

Meet the Teachers

Johnny Cortes

Acting

Johnny Cortes is a Canadian-Colombian actor and director from Montreal, QC. After, graduating in Film Studies at College Maisonneuve and a 2-year acting conservatory in New York City, Johnny has been a multi-national director and actor in films and plays. Johnny has appeared on the television series “Le Temps des Framboises, directed by Philippe Falardeau”. He is one of the producers of the short film Rizo directed by Jeanette Dilone, you can watch the short film on HBO MAX USA. Johnny has coached actors in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and New York.

Kate yublunovsky

On-Camera Acting

Kate Yablunovsky is a seasoned casting director with over 14 years of experience bringing stories to life across film, television, animation, and video games. Her work, spanning projects with a combined budget of over a billion dollars, has earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination and the trust of top studios like FilmNation, Bron, and Incendo. Known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach and fluency in five languages, Kate casts talent internationally with a deep love for
storytelling and human connection at the heart of every project.

Hélène Rousse

Voice-Over

With over 30 years of experience in casting, coaching, and mentoring performers, Hélène Rousse is a powerhouse in the entertainment industry. She’s the founder of Total Casting and Agile Entertainment, and has helped launch the careers of hundreds of actors, voice artists, and models. As a five-time Voice Arts Awards nominee and voice casting director for the Oscar-nominated Fire of Love, Hélène brings unmatched insight, clarity, and encouragement to every class. Her dynamic teaching style blends industry expertise with actionable tools to help performers break through and book the gigs they deserve.

Kathleen Mcnenny

Kathleen is a Juilliard alum and acclaimed actor and teacher, currently on faculty at Juilliard, the William Esper Studio, AADA, and The Lucid Body House. She specializes in mask work and the Lucid Body Technique, with certifications in both Lucid Body and the Michael Chekhov Technique (in progress). She’s a founding member of the Cape Cod Theater Festival and a member of The Actor’s Center and NAAT. Her Broadway credits include The Minutes, Death of a Salesman, Fish in the Dark, and A Few Good Men, with extensive regional theater, TV (The Good Wife, Blacklist, Law & Order), and film (School of Rock, Morning Glory) work.

Janice Orlandi

Janice Orlandi is a renowned movement specialist and director with expertise in psychophysical techniques, character transformation, and period styles including
Victorian, Edwardian, and Regency. A certified teacher of the Williamson and Michael Chekhov techniques, she has directed and choreographed for numerous acclaimed productions such as The Other Mozart, Red Velvet, and Bette Davis Ain’t for Sissies across major theaters in NYC, London, and international festivals. Orlandi has taught movement and acting at institutions like NYU Tisch, HB Studio, and Rose Bruford College, and has trained with masters including Mary Overlie, Anne Bogart, and Richard Schechner. She is Artistic Director of Actors Movement Studio Conservatory and a recognized leader in movement training trends

Anik Matern

Improv

Anik is a veteran actress and dedicated acting coach, known for her work in improvisation, mask, on-camera training, and youth education. She received ACTRA’s Community Builder Award in 2010 for her contributions to actor training. Her screen credits include series regular and principal roles in TV and film, most recently in MGM’s The Truth About the Harry Quebert Affair. Stage credits include Belles Soeurs, the Musical and The Underdogs at Just for Laughs. A passionate voice actor, she’s appeared in numerous animated series. Anik founded and led Montreal’s Dynamic Theater Factory (1998–2012) and has directed stage work across Canada and Europe. She continues to coach actors on set and in workshops, focusing on improvisation and camera work.
